A web hosting control panel is actually an user-friendly control interface that we used to access and operate our web hosting server. The quality of the control panel defines how well you can control and operate your website on the hosting.
For Lunapages, cPanel is used as the website control panel.
I am a fans of cPanel and think they are the best web hosting control panel. I had used some other control panels (some are built in-house as well as Plesk) and I found cPanel more user friendly and powerful than most other well-known control panel (Plesk for example).
In fact, cPanel is used by most of the shared hosting companies nowadays. With cPanel, you can almost control everything on the hosting server – email accounts, MySQL databases, customer error mesages, MIME types, apache handlers, search engines submission, chat room, upload files via cPanel file manager, doing cron job, and even shopping cart for e-commerce website.
